A 29-year-old American attacker will spend the rest of the 2017/2018 season in Minas who is currently in the 4th place of the Brazilian Superliga. Sonja Newcombe already came to Belo Horizonte and presented herself to the club and during the day had the medical exams.
“I’m very excited to be in Brazil. I want to start training soon and I look forward to meeting my new teammates” she said at the airport when she landed on the Brazilian soil.
