It has been confirmed. Levski player Spas Bayrev admitted that he was using marijuana and stated that he will not ask for B-sample. Bulgarian opposite is facing a suspension, but is still not clear how long he will be banned from playing volleyball.
The minimum penalty for using marijuana is 6 months outside court, while the maximum penalty is a 4-year suspension.
“There are people who still support me. That’s it. Now, I will have to get stronger,” said the player.
Recall that Bayrev was tested positive on marijuana after the derby match between Levski and CSKA.
