Despite the fact their 11-game winning streak was broken in Week 6 of VolleyLigaen, Gentofte have nothing to worry about as they secured top-seed earlier. Beating the leaders in the standings by a 3-2 might give the wind to the second-placed Hvidovre for the playoffs. Casper Munk Christiansen topped the winners with 20 points, while the Pole Tomasz Stanczuk made 70% attack (10 points). In Gentofte, Peter Trolle Bonnesen notched 18 points.

In the postponed Week 5 encounter, the defending champions Boldklubben Marienlyst defended No.5 as they outplayed VK Vestsjælland by a 3-0, leaving the rivals to fight until the last breath for No.6 (the last spot in the standings securing playoffs) in the next two games.
