WCH W: Abbondanza and Canada preparing for friendly matches

Women’s National team of Canada is preparing for the 2018 FIVB World Championship in Japan from September 29 to October 20.

Head coach Marcello Abbondanza chose 16 players who will work until the trip to Japan and that team will play few friendly matches. 

The team will travel to Istanbul where they will play and train until August 23. On that tour, Canada will play friendly matches against Turkey, Bulgaria and Germany.

The team will return to its home base in Canada for final Worlds’ preparation in September.
