In the fourth and penultimate round of the WGCC, which is played by the round-robin formula, the Chinese National Team maintained a perfect record in the tournament as they beat Russia in straight sets, in Nagoya, to achieve the fourth triumph, partially 25-20, 25-18, 25-20.

The points were redistributed rather equally in the Chinese squad as four players made 10+, annulling the unfocused field play of the entire team which resulted in 75 errors in total.

Zhang Changning was the best scorer of the Asian side with 16 points. Kseniya Parubets topped Russia with 11 points as the only player with double digits.
