VNL W: Kim Hill led USA to great victory over Italy

USA finished on the third place after Week 1 of the Volleyball Nations League 2018 for women.

In the last match of the Pool in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA defeated Italy in straight sets (25-21, 25-18, 25-21) and finished with 7 points while on the other side Italy is in minus, with all three defeats.

Kimberly Hill was a leader with 13 points followed by TeTori Dixon 9 points while Anastasia Guerra and Marina Lubian finished the match with 9 points for Italy.

In the next round of matches, USA will travel to Japan to play against the hosts, plus Belgium and the Netherlands. 

Italy are expected to recall several veteran players who were rested for the Nebraska trip, as they head to Suwon, where they will face host South Korea plus Germany and Russia, in week two.
