Paris – team
Paris has eight, the last one they won in 2009, Tours has three and is the defending champion. This will be a classic derby although it is a little unexpected two see the two teams in the final.
It was foreseeable that Tours will play in the championship series, as it was the champion last year and the best team in the regular season this year. As for Paris, it was 6th in the Ligue AM standings but it played better as the playoffs moved on and defeated Nantes and Cannes, thanks to a great home court, four wins no sets conceded.
It will be an interesting game to see if Paris can create another surprise this season.
