France improved their win- loss ratio to 2-0, while Italy dropped depressively to 0-2 after the competition’s second day.
The solid French blockers beside the high motivations were the key factor of this victory as the winners led 10-6 on stuff blocks beside the great action of their defence.
Opposite Julien Winkelmuller was the match scorer gaining 15 points for the winners followed by Thibault Rossard who scored 11 points for his side. Italy’s opposite Luigi Randazzo contributed 13 points for the losers as best scorer from his side.
