Saint-Nazaire, a newcomer to the Marmara SpikeLigue, clinched its maiden title two years after its promotion, surprising defending champion Tours. Despite losing the first leg (3-1), Saint-Nazaire rebounded in the second leg, taking the opening set 25-21, before conceding the next two (18-25, 27-29). The match eventually led to a golden set following a tie-break win by Tours (15-17).

Saint-Nazaire’s American players Jordan Ewert (19 points) and Kyle Ensing (13) with Canadian Jordan Schnitzer (15) were pivotal in the victory, countering Tours’ Aboubacar Dramé’s impressive 28-point performance. This victory marks a monumental achievement for Saint-Nazaire, which defeated both Nantes and Tourcoing to reach the finals.
