Gold Medal Match: Italy vs. France
France triumphed over Italy in a dramatic five-set match to claim the gold. The final scores were 19-25, 20-25, 25-14, 30-28, and 22-20. Despite losing the first two sets, France’s resilience led to a spectacular comeback, securing a 3-2 victory.
Bronze Medal Match: Poland vs. The Netherlands
In another five-set thriller, Poland defeated The Netherlands to earn the bronze medal. The set scores were 21-25, 22-25, 25-15, 25-21, and 15-9. Poland recovered from a two-set deficit to win the match 3-2.
