The opponent in the final of the defending champion will be determined in the last semi-final on Sunday afternoon between Allianz MTV Stuttgart and VC Wiesbaden.

For the second year in a row the Schwerin SC will play the final in this hall. The Cup Winners of 2012 win a real thriller with 3:2 (17:25, 25:19, 25:21, 19:25, 15:13) Rote Raben Vilsbiburg. In the deciding tiebreak Schwerin was initially clear with 5:1 and 8:3 in front, but then let the hosts approaching within one point.
