In front of 3000 spectators Dresdner once again beat Stuttgart 3:2 and became the German champion – again!
The match was very difficult for both teams and they played very nervous. Dresdner won first set 28:26 after 31 minutes of game.
Then Stuttgart first levelled to 1:1, and than was near to the first victory in the best of five series, after winning third set 25:23 for 2:1.
But Dresdner returned to the match and levelled to 2:2, for a new chance to finish final series in the fifth set.
Dresdner needed 18 minutes to score 15:12 an to celebrate German title again. I
t’s a fourth championship title for Dresdner SC, second in a row. They won gold medal of German championship 1999, 2007, 2014, and 2015.
