The Belgian expert banned his players to give statements and speak in public during the first three hours after sunrise each day!
Also, there is another bizarre rule by Haynen – German players are not allowed to use their cell phones, Internet and to watch TV from sunrise to sunset.
„I want everyone to think about life. Each player needs to strengthen mentally and to make the team better. The players should know which problems exist in life,“ Heynen explained his methods for the „Bild“.
Interestingly, German players approve Heynen’s rules.
„This is a completely new experience. It’s a good idea to think about God and the world,“ said the captain Jochen Schöps.
