San Guistino took the lead thanks to Urnaut, Creus (8:10) and Patak (10:13) in counterattack.
However, Macerata reacted well thanks to Travica and Omrcen scoring 14:13 and Urnaut who made his first mistake (16:14).
The game bacame tense when Podrascanin evened the result 19:19 and soon after Finazzi scored 21:19.
The decisive break was when Savani scored 24:22 and Omrcen 25:23.
The beginning of 2. set was balanced (6:6). Then thanks to Omrcen, the error of Patak (8:6) and the counterattack of Podrascanin, Lube took the lead of 9:6.
With good defense and counterattack of Omrcen (15:9) and Savani (16:9) Lube secured a big advantage.
For San Giustino Petkovic and Sammelvuo entered instead of McKibbin and Urnaut and lowered the difference to 5 points (18:13, 20:15).
However, Lube took the maximum advantage with the ace of Omrcen 23:15.
The rival continued playing and scored 4 consecutive points (23:19), but the recovery was not possible. The service of Cresus led to 20 point, but Lube won with 25:20.

In 4. set Savani secured the lead of 4:0 with 3 blocks and 1 ace. Then, after the error of Urnaut, Lube went to the first timeout leading with 8:3.
The gap remained unchanged to 2. technical timeout 16:11.
In the end Cozzi and Sammelvuo entered instead of Finazzi and Urnaut, but San Giustino did not lowered the difference. Podrascanin closed the set with 25:20.
