The Brazilian middle blocker Ana Beatriz Corrêa, also known as Bia, is a new player of Scandicci, joining her compatriot Natália Pereira in the Serie A club. The 29-year-old ‘Seleção’ member has chosen Italy to be her first overseas experience. Bia has played for Osasco/São Cristóvão Saúde in the last two seasons.

Among international titles, she won the 2017 FIVB World Grand Prix and 2019 South American Championship. On a club level, Bia won the Brazilian Championship in 2012, and two editions of the South American Club Championship. Individually, she was named Best Middle Blocker of the FIVB World Grand Prix, FIVB Volleyball Nations League, and South American Championship one-time each, as well as Best Blocker of the Brazilian Superliga.
