Matteo Lelli will complete the libero positions in Padova for the season 2022-23 season.
The player from Padua born in 1995 will make his absolute debut in the SuperLega. Fresh from the excellent season in Serie B with TMB Monselice culminating with the promotion to A3, he gained various experiences in as many categories (A2, A3, B, B1, B2, D) with the jerseys of Valsugana Padova, Tinet Gori Prata Pordenone and own TMB Monselice.
His joy was uncontainable when Padova called:
“It was a thunderbolt from the sky. The first signs came during the last Playoffs, but I didn’t want to believe them. For me it’s a dream come true,” says Lelli.
