Of course, there hasn’t been much aid in recent years, one letter from Fipav Central and nothing more. It all dependents of individual who loves volleyball but he had zero external support so far.
On the sidelines of a press conference of Pallavolo Modena yesterday, perhaps the only real news of the day, came after a request to see the Museum.
Anthony Marino, described the Museum of Volleyball situation:
“I am convinced that the best place for a museum of this type is the sports hall. Unfortunately today there are no conditions for this transfer to take place. We should evict two clubs involving over 250 families with their activities, and in a moment like this it can’t be done. I still think that the museum has to have a home in Modena and of course the natural home is the Pala Panini, all over Europe now the philosophy is to open the museums of sports memorabilia in the place of sport. We’ll see if on other meetings and with new ideas we will manage to accomplish this project.“
Meanwhile, however, waiting for the promised transfer, the Museum of Volleyball – around which may gravitate well over 250 families and could also create an appeal for the tourists, is sadly, closed …
