Marshall
Just like in the case of legendary Serbian opposite Ivan Miljković last year, the procedure of changing sports nationality for Marshall requires permission from the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) which can take a while.
But, besides this, Marshall needs to receive a green light from his homeland Cuba which still did not happen.
If he does not obtain the right to play as Italian, whose passport he owns, before the beginning of the season he will still have the status of a foreign player which will limit his team Piacenza to hire more foreigners during the season.
Next season will be Marshall‘s 10th in Italian Championship.
