Congeliano opened game by winning the first set, but Liu Jo Nordmeccanica Modena started playing much better and managed to turnaround the score 2-1!
The reigning champions had to take the fourth set to stay in the race and they somehow managed to win it. That gave them moral boost to smash the rival in the tie-break and grab a victory.
Samantha Bricio (MVP) was the top scorer with 17 points, while three players had 15 points each – Serena Ortolani, Raphaela Folie and Robin de Kruijf. In home team, Neriman Oszoy had 19 points, while Jovana Brakocevic and Caterina Bosetti had 18 points each.
