In 2010, she was the best striker in the Under 16 national finals. She has two years of experience with national prejuniores: two second places in the Eight nations tournament in Germany and the Netherlands, second place at the European Championships in Turkey and eleventh place in the World Cup. In her family they are all basketball players: her father Aurelio (just in Victoria Libertas Pesaro), her mother Roberta Costantini (in A in Chieti) and her brother Federico (in Serie B).
“I started with basketball, but I immediately realized that it was not for me. Actually, even the first volleyball training session was traumatic, but I have not given up. I played the opposite, then my trainer Luca Pieragnoli changed my role and made me the player I am. I owe him a lot, we are different, but he knows me.“
“I am recovering from a very serious injury to my left knee and in this regard I wish all the best to Traini from Scavolini basketball, which I know has just suffered an accident similar to mine. I’m honest: it was hard to return to work in the field through two operations. Many times I thought of giving up, but I responded: I always want to finish things that I started. Now I’m here, my father told me to come Pesaro, a town where life is good and people are very friendly. I have a three-year contract with Robur, a sign that they believe in me and this is a further incentive to recover as soon as possible. I hope to return to the field at the beginning of 2013, while working separately to complete my healing.“
