Sometimes there is a trigger, sometimes there isn’t, but big games always bring tensions both on and off the court. Especially when there is a huge stake waiting at the end of it. Just like last night when Sir Safety Conad Perugia and Cucine Lube Civitanova competed for the trophy in the Italian men’s volleyball cup (Del Monte Coppa Itala).
At one point in the second set, Serbian Aleksandar Atanasijević and Bulgarian Tsvetan Sokolov had to say something to each other through the net. The first referee did not want to tolerate the trash-talk and gave red cards to both of them.
