At one training of his club Sir Safety Conad Perugia before the 2017/18 Italian championship SuperLega UnipolSai playoffs, Zaytsev was spotted wearing the shoes of the company Mizuno.
It would not be the news of any significance if there wasn’t a famous “footwear case” last summer due to which Zaytsev was excluded from the national team of “Azzurri” at the preparations for the 2017 CEV European Championship.
So, Adidas may be still the personal sponsor of the “Zar” but he showed a good will to wear the footwear brand of an Italian volleyball federation (Fipav), which might be an introduction into his comeback in Italy national team for the 2018 FIVB World Championship!
