A little bit unexpected, Hisamitsu Springs in the first set allowed opponents to win only 9 points. Yuki Ishii was the top scorer with 19 points, Rika Nomoto scored 11 points and Foluke Akinradewo 13 points for the winning team.

On the other side, Serbian bomber Brankica Mihajlović was lonely in JT Marvelous with 17 points.

The next match is scheduled for March 17. If the result at the end is 1-1 than the golden set will decide the winner.
