Japanese Women’s V.league: Hisamitsu Springs won new title

For the sixth time in the history, Hisamitsu Springs became the champions of the Women’s Japanese volleyball league.

They closed the season in the best way. In the final of the competition, Hisamitsu Springs twice defeated JT Marvelous and both in straight sets. Today, the result was 25-14, 25-21, 25-20 and they showed that they deserved to be on the throne. 

Brankica Mihajlović with 20 points was the top scorer of the match although her team was defeated. In Hisamitsu, Yuki Ishii scored 14 points, Rika Nomoto 13 points while Foluke Akinradewo 11 points.

At the awarding ceremony, Yuki Ishii was named for the MVP of the season and she also was among Top 6 players of the season with Mihajlović and Akinradewo.
