Pan Am Cup M: Dominican Republic, USA, Colombia, and Mexico Secure Wins in Pan American Men’s Volleyball Cup

The Dominican Republic triumphed over Peru with a 3-1 victory (25-16, 28-30, 25-18, 25-17) in the XVII Pan American Men’s Volleyball Cup. Key players included Héctor Cruz with 17 points and Wilfrido Hernández with 12. Maikel Jaramillo led Peru with 17 points.

The United States also clinched a 3-1 win against Puerto Rico (25-21, 25-18, 29-31, 25-18). Gabriel García scored 19 points for the USA, while Jamal Carballo led Puerto Rico with 19 points.

Colombia dominated Guatemala with a 3-0 win (25-16, 25-16, 25-16). Leandro Mejía scored 12 points for Colombia, with Carlos López leading Guatemala with 12 points.

In a five-set thriller, Mexico edged out Chile 3-2 (25-22, 25-23, 19-25, 15-25, 15-13). Franky Milantoni led Mexico with 24 points, while Vicente Parraguirre and Dusan Bonacic each scored 20 points for Chile.
