Today in the first round of the new season Khemik Yuzhny defeated Universytet SHVSM in straight sets 25-16, 25-14 and 25-15 thanks to the middle blocker Diana Karpets who scored 14 points with 9-9 in the attack, 5 blocks and only one error in the serve. During the whole match, they dominated in the block (11) and attack (63%) while opponents couldn’t find the solution for the motivated Khimik.
In the second match of the day, Orbita outplayed Bilozhar also with 3-0 (25-10, 25-20, 25-21) while Galychanka Ternopil scored the same result against Regina 3-0 (25-12, 25-18, 25-19). The only match that was uncertain until the end was between Volyn and Novator. They played five sets and the host team celebrated victory (25-27, 25-18, 23-25, 26-24, 15-11).
