„In my opinion, I am very happy with the season, very satisfied. I play more than I could have hoped for, the coach gives me a chance all the time and I think I use it well, I progress in every way. Sure, I still have a lot to learn, but I can truly say that my season is successful for now.“
Conegliano is a big club that in every competition in which it is located goes to the end, to gold. And that is often not the best field for the development of young players, since only trophies are sought in the club.
„I am aware of that, but it is also an additional motive for me to try even harder. Some injuries of my teammates in the position of middle blocker also helped me, so I got a lot of opportunities to play and gain experience.“
We will be able to check it very soon, because from May to the beginning of September our national team expects to play in three strong competitions, the Golden Group of the European League, the Challenger Cup and finally, as icing on the cake, the European Championship which we start with a group in Zadar.
„I can’t wait for the gathering, I’m so looking forward to it because I haven’t been home for eight months, I haven’t seen anyone, I only talk to my teammates on the phone. And I want to show everyone how much I’ve progressed this season.“

„I am the second year of the Edward Bernays School of Communication Management, I passed five of the seven exams, I still have two to apply, but I think I will solve them as well because they have an ear for my professional volleyball obligations. Also, I am very pleased that I have already mastered the Italian language, in which my two roommates who are Italian help me a lot, so I constantly ask them something and I learn faster. Even if it weren’t for that Covid 19, which is still ‘cheerful and cloudy’ here in Italy, which is why the measures are being relaxed a bit, so they are tightening, the season would be perfect,“ – Božana Butigan, tells us at the end of the interview, mentioning that she is always happy.
