KOR W: Caltex get closer to winning championship title

The GS Caltex KIXX have taken one more step forward to winning the title in the 2020/21 South Korean Women’s Volleyball Championship.

The regular-season and national Cup winners, GS Caltex KIXX, achieved one more victory in the playoff finals of the 2020/21 Korean Women’s Dodram V-League. They now lead by a 2-0 in the best-of-5 series against 2nd-seed Heungkuk Life Insurance Pink Spiders.

And the same as in Game 1, Caltex swept rivals, also the defending champions, by a 3-0 – partially 25-21, 25-20, and 25-16. In the previous 15 seasons, all teams that won the first and second game of the finals won the championship. Kang So-Hwi stood out in Caltex with 18 points.
