Guillermo Gallardo-Rote Raben VILSBIBURG
Since 2007, Guillermo Gallardo is head coach of the Rote Raben. With him as coach in 2008 and 2010 Rote Raben won the German championship, in 2009 with the Rote Raben Gallardo won the German Cup. Currently the girls are playing in the quarterfinals playoff and have the good chance for the semifinals after last Saturday 3:0 win over Aurubis HAMBURG.
According to reports Guillermo Gallardo on Wednesday, 10 April, will be presented as the new coach of Volley KONIZ.
After a year at Köpenicker SC Guillermo Gallardo came to Rote Raben VILSBIBURG in 2007. In 2010 he signed a three year contract again. “This man is working well, he works pretty good,” said the former Rote Raben Manager Klaus-Peter Jung.
The Swiss first division club Volley KONIZ is for several years sparring partner of the Rote Raben in the preseason.
In Switzerland, the season has ended, and Köniz had separated with coach Florian Steingruber. “We are unhappy with the sporting situation,” the Volley KONIZ Manager Achim Dähler said in the “Der Bund” newspaper. “Köniz is now looking for a coach who knows the Swiss league and has experience with a women’s team. Guillermo Gallardo is perfect for this role. The Argentines can handle volleyball girls, in Vilsbiburg in recent years he made the impressive results.”
