Rising star of European and World volleyball, Bulgarian opposite, Tsvetan Sokolov, was the top scorer one more time with 22 points. He was followed up Alexandre Ferreira who scored 16 as well as Mojtaba Mirzajanpour with 14.
Game didn’t started very well for Italians. They’ve led most of the first set once even with five points, but Kaleh somehow got to an even ending of the set. After two set points, mistake by Tsvetan Sokolov gave Iranians the 1-0 lead.
But that was all as far as surprises go. Recent Italian Supercoppa winners shifted to a next gear and convincingly one the next two sets by the same result 25-19.
Then the fourth period came. Score was even most of the time, or one, two points in favor of Kalleh. But at 17-19 for Kalleh, Trentino made a 4-0 run who got them to 21-19 and later to a 26-24 win.
