Russian opposite Pavel Moroz, after finishing the previous season as a member of Russian team Neftyanik Orenburg, decided to start a new chapter and continue his career in the United Arab Emirates. In the 2021/2022 season he will be a member of Al Wasl SC from Dubai.
The newcomers to the 2020/21 Russian men’s volleyball Championship, Neftyanik Orenburg, engaged a former country’s national team member Pavel Moroz in the previous season. In the 2020/2021 season, he scored 190 points in 25 games. Moroz is former Russian national team member (2012-2015), for which he collected 22 caps.
Until May 2020, Moroz served an 18-month suspension for cocaine use. The last time he entered the court in an official match before the suspension was on November 11, 2018, in the jersey of Dinamo-LO Leningrad region.
