Yuka Sato marked today’s program of the 2021/22 V.League Division 1. A 27-year-old outside hitter put down 40 points for the Saitama Ageo Medics for their first win in the competition (3-2 vs the Okayama Seagulls). The ball went to her 70 times in the attack!

The Toray Arrows played two matches in less than 24 hours, both against the same rivals – Victorina Himeji. Yesterday, the vice-champions prevailed in four sets, while today, they took a three-set victory, partially 25-20, 25-17, and 25-18, to which they were led by Slovakian-Azerbaijani international Jana Kulan (19 points) and Mayu Ishikawa (78.3 % reception /23 digs, two errors/).

The titleholders JT Marvelous beat the Toyota Auto Body Queenseis in the big match (3-1). American Andrea Drews was, as usual, on a high level for the club from Nishinomiya, scoring 30 points.
