In the 4th match of the playoff finals of the 2021/22 Estonian Men’s Championship (Eesti Meistrivõistlused Meestele) Bigbank Tartu defeated Pärnu VK 3-1 (25-23, 25-23, 25-27, 26-24), sweeping the series 4-0, and earning the national title for the second year in a row with.

Just like during the entire series, both teams were highly weakened today as well. Middle blockers Mart Naaber and Alex Saaremaa didn’t play in Tartu, while Ukrainian Bohdan Mazenko and Brazilian Jó Maurício Neto (who broke his hand in the second game of the series) were absent on the losing side. The top scorer for Tartu in Game 4 was Martti Juhkami (24 points).

Tartu had a great season, winning Estonian Cup, Baltic League, and now the national league.
