ACH Volley Ljubljana returned to the Slovenian men’s volleyball throne after a one-year break.
ACH Volley Ljubljana crowned an exceptional season by taking the 18th title of the national champions. Old acquaintances of volleyball courts in Slovenia competed in the third match of the final act of this season’s playoffs in 2021/22 Sportklub 1A. DOL moški. Led by North Macedonian Nikola Gjorgiev (18 points), ACH Volley Ljubljana made a convincing victory against Calcit Volley with a score of 3-0.
The team from the country’s capital won the third laurels of the season after the Slovenian Cup and the Central European League (MEVZA League), not losing even once in all three tournaments. Actually, ACH Volley remained undefeated in all domestic and international tournaments in 2021/22 except for one match – the first leg of the CEV Challenge Cup semi-finals against France’s Narbonne: 55-1 in all competitions.
