The head coach Glenn Hoag, has announced the list of 14 players who will represent Canada at the WCH:
“After a long summer of competing and training, we are looking forward to the challenge of the World Championship in Poland,” said head coach Glenn Hoag for volleyball.ca – “Our athletes have a good mix of experience, and realize that this is a very important tournament for our team. We know that all the teams in our pool will be just as eager as we are to prove they belong among the best in the world.”
There are 14 names on the list:
TJ Sanders, Nicholas Hoag, Dan Lewis, Dallas Soonias, Justin Duff, Adam Simac, Dustin Schneider, Toontje Van Lankvelt, Gavin Schmitt, Fred Winters, Graham Vigrass, Gord Perrin, Rudy Verhoeff, Steve Marshall.
Canada, currently ranked 15th in the world, is in Pool C, with Russia, Bulgaria, Egypt, China and Mexico.
