This source writes that FIVB has decided to take away organization of the U19 Men’s World Championship from Tehran and give it to Argentina. But, the sanctions might be even fierce in future. Allegedly, FIVB might ban Iran to play in the World League 2015!
Meanwhile, clubs from all over the world are joining the campaign – “Free Ghoncheh Ghavami”. The last clubs who showed support to the arrested girl were Olympiacos and Panathinaikos, while all Italian clubs announced that they will raise messages of support before the Sunday’s games.

Pasini always tries to write sensational news just to point attention on him! But this absolutly will not happen, because FIVB will never discuss political decisions inside one country…
I am sorry for FIVB, Iran banned one woman, FIVB banned a country.
Maybe FIVB changed this tournament for some other reason, and here you use it as excuse for what is happening in this moment to Ghoncheh!!! Check better this information

FIVB is strong evrywhere except ..maybe if some club do not pay to player …can they do something ??
Of course they can do it! Depends how much tou are ready to pay!!!
Iran bans ALL women from attending men’s volleyball competitions not only Goncheh ! It’s just right to ban ALL Iranian tteams from their competitions as long as they don’t respect basic human rights. Set up a women’s tier if you wish but don’t deny access to the arena.
FIVB will never mix sport and politics… (Almost)!;)
