Also in Pool 1, Fujian Xia’men Ximengbao loss to Zhejiang New Century with 3-2 and both teams now have the score 2-2. In Pool 2, Army Kemen Bayi made its four straight victory by beating Beijing BAIC Motors with 3-0. Liaoning Dalian Jinzhou had a tough time against Henan (3-2) while Bohai Bank Tianjin won for the first time and nailed Sichuan University to the bottom of the standings (3-0).
At Luwan hall, Shanghai started the match vs. Jiangsu with the lead of 5-0 and 10-5 and consolidated the advantage to 16-12 and 21-18 to the final 25-22.
However, Jiangsu fought back, from 0-2 to 5-10, 8-16, and 13-25 and leveled the score up (1-1). Jiangsu won the 3rd set with 25-20, but in the fourth set it collapsed to 8-25.
The results in the tiebreaker went from 0-6 to 6-15.
Bayi opened the match vs. Beijing in Yuanping gymnasium with good blocking (5-0). Afterwards, it was 15-5, 21-14. After an ace it was 25-16.
Beijing was on a good track to level up the score in sets (4-6), but some good attacks of Bayi’s players made 18-11, 23-19 and 25-19.
The third set started in favor of Beijing (6-9) when Bayi made 5-1 run (11-10). After the second technical timeout it was 16-16, but later, Bayi won with 25-22.
In Bayi, Wang Yunlu, Yuan Xinyue and Wang Qi have scored 12 points. In Beijing, Seda Tokatlıoğlu gained 14 while Kelsey Robinson won 13 points.
