Beijing managed to record first win in the second round. They barely beat Sichuan in five sets 25-19, 23-25, 12-25, 25-21, 15-12. Price was the best in reigning champion with 22, while on away side Sidibe scored 21 and Olteanu 12.
Henan and Fujian played an amazing match. Away side had 2-0 lead, but home team managed to make comeback and to win match 3-2.
Sun Kai led his team to the win with 24 points, while on the other side Muagututia scored 16 and Jablonsky 13.
