Paykan’s block
Mizan was better than Shahrdari Zahedan VC in four sets with partial 25-18, 23-25, 25-19, 25-19.
Paykan Teheran took advantage of Zahedan’s loss and skipped them in the standings. Paykan is now ranked second after beating Erteashat Sanati as a visitor with 27-25, 24-26, 25-17, 25-20.
It was Paykan’s third win in a row, while Sanati remained without a victory so far.
In Pool B, Shahrdari Urmia VC showed its superiority against last placed Mehr Pars Fars and defeted it in straight sets – 25-16, 25-21, 25-14 – and remained on top spot on the table.
In the same pool, Matin Varamin beat Vezarat Defa to secure second place.
