According to the Montenegrin website vijesti.me, Budvanska Rivijera has made a huge mistake during the squad registration for CEV Champions League Group stage round.

Luka Babić

One of the most popular websites in Montenegro reported that the team from Budva broke the CEV rules by registering one player who has no contract with this club! The problem is that Luka Babić has a valid contract with Budućnost Podgorica.

Montenegrin website also added that Budvanska Rivijera and Budućnost reached an agreement, but Babić didn’t sign a contract yet! Montenegrin champions knew for this fact and despite that they decided to register him for Champions league.

The 21-year old receiver just played volleyball. But his role in CEV Champions league was minor! He played four matches in the elite European competition and he was a entering the court from the bench… Babić ended Champions league campaign with two points (vs. Resovia).
