China was better than Italy after 3-1 (25-21, 20-25, 25-16, 25-19) and in that way they have registered second victory in Pool E.
The best scorer in the winning was Zhu Ting with 17 points, while Valentina Diouf scored 25 point but that wasn’t enough for victory.
In a pretty one-sided match Japan defeated Dominicans 3-0 (25-19, 25-12, 25-15) to mark their first victory.
Saori Kimura and Yuki Ishii scored 10 points each while on the other side Erasma Moreno Martinez was only player with double score, also 10 points.
