It was one of the longest losing streaks in world’s volleyball this season, but now it’s broken – KGC Daejeon scored first win after 11 consecutive defeats in Korea.

Daejeon remained the last placed team in V-League with only 2 wins and 13 losses, but in penultimate round in 2015, they beat one of the playoff contenders, hi-pass Zenith Korea Expressway 3-2 (25-16, 18-25, 21-25, 25-14, 15-10).

The game was marked by ’shooters’ duel of two Americans which ended with an equalizer. Hayley Spelman from winning team and Leslie Cikra from Expressway scored 38 points each.

Expressway suffered second defeat in a row and, at the moment, they are two wins far from playoff spot.
