The Round 2 at the tournament began with expected and very convincing win of Netherlands against Switzerland. Judith Pietersen shined in the Dutch team with 14 points.
Then it started to be much more interesting. Turkey faced China, which scored a straight sets win over Brazil a day earlier… However, the Chinese girls were powerless this time! With great Hande Baladin (20 points) on their side, Turkish squad prevailed after 4 sets and scored their first victory at Montreux 2016.
The most exciting match was the one at the end. Serbia and Thailand played a tie-breaker in which Thai girls triumohed by 15:13 and took 2 points. Pleumjit Thinkaow and Malika Kanthong were leading the winning side with 19 points each.
