The ladies of the Czech Republic completed their campaign in the group with a speedy 3:0 to edge Latvia in their last match of the tournament (25-14, 25-10, and 25-13).

After a very close start, with the score leveled at 9, the Czechs imposed their pace going for a comfortable 25-14 in the opening set.
Latvia lost composure in set 2 and 3, looking shaky in attack as well as in defense, while on the other side of the net the Czech Republic was powered by top scorer Aneta Havlickova and by Ivona Svobodnikova to go for an impressive 25-10 and 25-13 to cap their campaign in Budapest with a 3:0 win.
