Barak surprised his teammate in Zlin with such a decision.
“I got a job offer that I couldn’t refuse,” he said after Tuesday’s game against Ostrava. According to sport.idnes.cz, he will be working as a warehouseman in a company with agricultural technology.
“Teammates tried to persuade me to continue volleyball career, but on the other hand they understand that we can’t feed families from volleyball together. I talked with coach and everything went fine,” says Barak.
That says much about volleyball situation in Czech Republic. He’d rather work as a warehouseman than playing volleyball.
