Mr. Labbé introduced to the media the format worked out for the 2013 season with the extension of the starting field to a total of 28 teams and showed some stats about the impressive press and TV coverage of the past campaign.
“We have been assigned to a very tough Pool” said head coach Mauricio Paes. “TRENTINO is like FC BARCELONA in Volleyball as they have many stellar players. However, Barça sometimes also loses matches and we hope that TRENTINO may be upset by TOURS VB. Our ambition is to make it to the Playoffs 12 even though this is getting more and more difficult after each season”.
Pascal Foussard recalled that the club is participating in Europe’s most elitist competition for the tenth time in 12 years.
