Italy grabbed a ticket for the final much easier than Russia, as they defeated Belarus in straight sets 3-0 (25-13, 25-6, 25-12). The top scorer of the game was Claudia Consoli with 13 points.
Russia were trailing twice during the game against Bulgaria but they have managed somehow to win the game 3-2 (17-25, 25-21, 22-25, 25-21, 15-11).
Tatiana Kadochkina had a good game in the Russian jersey with 22 points, while on the other side Aleksandra Georgieva was the top scorer with 24 points.
The final game between Italy and Russia is scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday) at 17:00 CET.
