Rebecca Anna Pavan will stop playing volleyball after only 10 years of the professional volleyball career.
“I decided to finish with professional volleyball and go back to school. I have many great memories related to volleyball and I am happy that at the last moment of my adventure I could play in such a club and I will always remember well the time spent in Krakow” said Canadian player and added:
“Since I remember, my passion was to help young people. I want to give them a chance to make the dreams come true and I think it’s the right time for me to take care of that. Before I started my professional volleyball career, I always dreamed about becoming a teacher. Now, after many years of playing, I feel that it is the best time to return home and spend time with my family. Although I will not continue my professional career, I will still be involved in youth training at my dad’s club in my hometown. I hope that I will help young players in achieving their goals in academic competitions, and then on a professional level“
