POLISH CUP M: ZAKSA barely survive brave Aluron, will play for trophy against Jastrzębski

Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle defeated Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie after an exhausting fight in the semifinals of the 2021 Polish Men’s Volleyball Cup.

ZAKSA survived a thrilling semifinal of the 2021 Polish Men’s TAURON Puchar Polski against Aluron: 3-2 (20-25, 25-19, 25-18, 20-25, 15-11) in Kraków.

The titleholders thus entered the final for the second time in a row (the last edition of the Final Four wasn’t held due to the coronavirus pandemic). There, the team coached by Nikola Grbić will face Jastrzębski Węgiel, who swept Trefl Gdańsk in the other semifinal.
