Tauron MKS DABROWA GORNICZA
This result – a 3:0 win – was needed by the players mentored by head coach Waldemar Kawka in order to finish second in the charts before the competition stops for about one month.
“I am very proud of the performance displayed by my team” team captain Magdalena Sliwa said. “The young players of Palac played with great determination and showed good Volleyball too”.
The national league will resume after the final stage of Poland’s Cup scheduled for March 9-10. The players of Tauron MKS will enjoy a short break before they get back to training. “This break will be very beneficial and we do have enough time to prepare for the Playoffs” outside hitter Elzbieta Skowronska stresses.
The 1/4 finals of the national cup are scheduled for the second half of February. “Everything can happen there. If we beat PTPS PILA, we would then play what is possibly the strongest team in the competition, Bank BPS Fakro MUSZYNA. However, we’re motivated to go for the best results” Skowronska concludes.
